About

Valuations are the basis on which investors, owners, occupiersand financial institutions make financial or property-related decisions.Our company is registered with the Royal InstitutionofChartered Surveyors to carry out international valuations in accordance with the international valuation standards (IVS) and the Red Book, and every member of our management team is certified as a RICS valuer.

Main purposes for carrying out a valuation

• Valuations to provide information for a company's decision-making bodies and closing off financial statements (in accordance with IFRS and Spanish General Chart of Accounts).
• Valuations for obtaining financing from national or international financial institutions, in line with RICS regulations.

We draw up portfolio business plans and carry out ongoing surveillance on their management and divestment.

Our Loan Valuation & Advisory team offers our clients (primarily financial institutions, investment funds and servicers) advisory services focused on the valuation of their mortgage loan portfolios (performing and non-performing). We also analyse and segment their portfolios in order to implement strategies designed to maximise loan recovery.

To do this, we apply the most advanced valuation and business intelligence tools the market has to offer. We have even developed our own tool Discovery, which covers the entire process of data cleaning, valuation, due diligence, visualisation and management of property portfolios.

Our advisory team also provides strategic advice to a wide range of real estate firms, focusing on designing efficient operating models and new strategies both at product and services level and at the corporate level.

In April 2011 CBRE Valuation Advisory received authorisation to carry out regulated valuations in accordance with Spanish legislation (ECO/805/2003) and was registered in the Bank of Spain's Special Registry of Mortgage Lending Valuation Companies (Registro Especial de Sociedades de Tasación) under number 4630.
