Professional Experience

Dan leverages over 20 years of experience in sourcing and supply management industry on behalf of the real estate portfolios of major financial services clients. He applies his extensive understanding of spend analysis, strategic planning, risk mitigation, contract negotiations, and supplier performance management to consistently create significant sustainable cost-savings value.

Mr. Lenze joined CBRE in 2006 and leads the supply management function on the Bank of America, BB&T, RJ Reynolds, AIG, and a Confidential Financial Services Client accounts. He established supply chain policy and process, as well as directed its implementation. Mr. Lenze successfully applied extensive supplier qualification and screening programs to attain compliance. Through partnership and collaboration with cross functional teams, he reduced the supplier base and developed consistency and standardization of the supply chain across property portfolios. He championed efficient and effective execution of continuous improvement programs by incorporating key performance indicators in third party supplier agreements.   

Prior to joining CBRE, Dan was the Strategic Director of Global Procurement Real Estate Services at American Express. Mr. Lenze rationalized the supplier base and leveraged operational spend to achieve cost savings. In coordination with business partners, he developed an energy procurement program to leverage the company’s consumption in deregulated U.S. markets. During his tenure he completed a two year expatriate assignment in London, England where he provided strategic and operational leadership to a team of twenty procurement professionals located in the United Kingdom and France. In this role, he developed and grew strategic relationships with internal business units and nurtured an international business culture.
